Ascrum, the Student Rugby Association of Amsterdam since 1962, is the biggest student rugby association of the Netherlands. Ascrum has its own traditions and values. Every year we go on trip, play at the Amsterdam Sevens among team from over the whole world. Apart from that, our first team plays in the highest possible league in the Netherlands: de Ereklasse.

Next to playing rugby, Ascrum is the perfect association to create new friends in the big city of Amsterdam. It is up to you if you want to play at the highest level and train 2 times per week. With 5 teams, spread through the different levels, we have a wide range of players! After each training, the third half is played in our own clubhouse: Het IJzeren Huisch.

To find out if playing rugby suits you, we organise a 6-week clinic to walk through the basics of the sport every year. If you already know the ins and outs of the sport and played for a longer time, you can contact us to find out when and how to start playing for Ascrum at your own level!
